Eduardo Chillida Biography

Spain, 1924 - 2002

Basque-born sculptor and printmaker, widely recognized as one of the leading European sculptors of our time.

This artist is most well known for his wrought iron abstract sculptures that can be found at several public locations across Northern Spain and his hometown of San Sebastian. Two of his most renowned museum pieces are: 'From Within' at the Guggenheim Museum, New York and 'Modulation of Space I' at the Tate Gallery, London.

Chillida's estate, "Chillida Leku", near San Sebastian, Spain, which has been converted into a museum and sculpture garden, is not only the best place to view his works, but also one of the finest artist-specific smaller museums, in the world.

PicassoMio.com is pleased to present its selection of authenticated limited edition art prints by this leading sculptor and printmakers. Like his famous sculptures, graphic prints by Chillida, depict abstract forms, often charachterized by interesting, interlocking shapes.
