Founded in 1931, The Boise Art Museum (BAM) is the only AAM accredited art museum in the State of Idaho.
BAM's Permanent Collection of 2,000 works of art focus on the 20th century American art with a long-standing emphasis on artists of the Pacific Northwest, American Realism and ceramics.
BAM's Collection also includes a survey of European and non-Western artwork designed to provide a broader context for the overall Collection.
In a very interesting format, the Permanent Collection is exhibited using four themes: Elegance of Form, Artful Storytellers, Sense of Place, Ceremony of Spirit.
