French emerging artist, Assoun, paints landscapes very near abstraction although with noticeable figurative references.
Assoun studied in the Académie Julian, in the School of Fine Arts and in the School of theatre Decoration et Trompe L´oeil in Genoa. Most of her works are made in acrylic on linen cloth. Working figuratively as much as in the totally abstract, Assoun speaks to us through the language of color.
Fields of flowers, trees, and plains compose a full landscape of color, a dialogue enchanted with emotions and sensations, a dream of serenity and nature. Without a doubt, if there is an intention in the work of Assoun, it is to transmit the sensation of tranquillity and serenity to us through her flowery fields, forests and colourful plains.
