Carlos Rua Biography
Painter and sculptor born in 1948 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Nationalized Spanish. It resides in Spain from 1989. " In the best paintings and Carlos Rúa's sculptures the creative freedom of the artist become compatible, mysteriously, by the fatality of the work of art, which, after realized, imposes on us as something inevitable, because as Rilke says, " in the deep thing everything is A Law ". But a Law that, for being precisely in the depths of the artistic creation, only can be discovered when the creator of art has been liberated, as Carlos Rúa, of any external form and of any rule foreign to his interior need.
