Why remake a classic (though in modern terms a little cheesy looking) that has spanned decades and stood the test of time, at least in the eyes of movie buffs?

Who knows, but this book is an excellent insight into the behind-the-scenes of the film making process, and should satisfy anyone after a glimpse into the realms of epic Hollywood.
