Emilio López-Galiacho Biography

Spain, 1960

Emerging Spanish artist Emilio Lopez-Galiacho is characterized by his unique combination of photography, digital art, and 3-D techniques. He holds a degree in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. In 1992 he co- founded Arquimedia, a group dedicated to forging relationship between new media and architecture. He was on the selection committees for the "Millia 96" Festival en Cannes and the 1997 "V Congreso Cyberconf" in Madrid, as well as on the advisory board of WAM (Web Architecture Magazine).

He has lectured at the Tracor Acts School, IEDE and the Polytechnic School in Madrid, the SEK University in Segovia, the Museum of Fine Arts in Granada, and at the Ars Electronica Center in Linz, Austria.
