Esteve Biography

Novelda, Alicante, Spain. . 1955

In spanish SCULPTOR Esteve´s work, the natural characteristics of each individual piece of stone play an important role in how the representation of the female body is reduced to minimal forms.

In making this link between the natural material and the human form, Esteve references the work of Henry Moore and alludes to the vitality of primitive art.
