Fernanda Fragateiro Biography

Montijo, Portugal, 1962-

Portuguese artist. Pays a great deal of attention to artistic interventions in public spaces.   Since 1991 every Sunday in the Lisbon newspaper Diario de Noticias, he writes a page for children full of drawings and texts.

He studied for four years, between 1983 and 1987, at la Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes in Lisbon, until he left without finishing his studies, unsatisfied with the teachings he had received.

Though he was very young, he began to publicly exhibit his work in 1981.
