Fernando Bellver Biography

Madrid (Spain) 1954

Established Spanish artist Fernando Bellver creates prints, sculptures and multimedia works in the figurative style. He utilizes objects and images that occur throughout art history and transforms them into objects of consumption.

Bellver studied Drawing, Modelling, Design, Printmaking and lithography, at the Madrid School of Arts.

In 1981 he founded the studio, "Taller Mayor Veintiocho", together with Fructuoso Moreno and Arturo García Armada. They give courses in Printmaking in Valdepeñas, at The Academy of Spain, Rome and at the University of Austin, Texas, USA.
