Jonas Damon Biography

Jonas Damon raised in Germany but graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. He worked in London developing furniture and lighting for Tom Dixon's Eurolounge and later became the design manager at Habitat UK. He also worked in Paris before moving back to the states and founding Office for Design in New York City in 2001.

His office intends to create objects rooted in the exploration of new ways to engage old materials. His has created everything from lamps to kitchen ware, chairs, alarm clarks, toothbrushes, desks, tables and packaging.

His products are exhibited internationally and he has many international clients such as Vitra and Wedgwood.
