Harry Allen Biography

Harry Allen received his masters in industrial design from the Pratt Institute in New York City. He opened a studio in 1993 where he produced his first furniture line called “Living Systems”, which he showed at the New York International Contempory Furniture Fair.

He is also an accomplished interior designer having a number of successful retail stores including Union Street Wear, Supreme Skateboard, and the Dragonfly Selects jewelry store in Taiwan. He also designed the restaurant/night club SX173 in New York City.

He has also done a lot of product design, furniture design, lighting, and graphic design. In 2006 he opened the Harry Allen showroom next to his studio in Manhattan, to showcase his lighting, furniture and objects for the home.
