Truly beautiful 1939 lithograph after the famous Matisse work "Figure Décorative (fond fleuri)" of 1928, the print is signed 'in the plate' by Matisse, just visible near to the lower left hand corner. The piece also benefits original title with year of the work, together with other corroborative details catalogued verso the support in lead. With dimensions at Support 244 x 187 mms, Plate 219 x 164 mms, the lithograph is vacuum sealed & mounted on acid free black on white matting board, is immediately ready for framing and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity detailing the history of the item. The item is in super condition for its years, and the colours in the plate are still bright and prominent. It is without question a marvellous example of the edition. (ref 20539)
