Edition: There were 100 signed and numbered proofs for the first state of this work. Our piece is from the unsigned second state which was made in an edition of 575 impressions. Reference: Duthuit 416 - II/II Note: This was made by Matisse for the Album : “Les peintres lithographies de Manet a Matisse” Paris, Gallerie des Peintres Graveurs. The work contained 16 lithographs by well known contemporrary printmaking artists. Public Collections: Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris.
