José Carlos Vecilla Biography
Eibar, Guipuzcoa, 1962
Spanish artist Jose Carlos Vecilla is a self-taught painter who studied engraving at the Centro de Enseñanzas Artesanales of Guipuzcoa. In 1970 he joined the Artists Association of Eibar and participated in various group exhibitions throughout the Basque Country. Vecilla joined the Artistic Circle of San Lluc in Barcelona in 1989. He is especially dedicated to the world of printing and has collaborated in many print workshops, most recently in one by Ignasi Aguirre in Ciudad Condal.
