Jose Manuel Ciria Biography

Born in the UK, Jose Manuel Ciria is one of the most active and internationally successful contemporary Spanish painters. His work is abstract, moving with a stimulating tension between liberty, informalism, planned geometry, and constructivism.

Ciria has also had forays into the world of theory. The abstract investigation Gesto y orden he completed in the 90s analysed the constituent elements of the plastic image.
