Juan Eizaguirre Biography

An acclaimed Spanish artist, Juan Eizaguirre plays with color and geometry in his most recent works.

He studied architecture at the Escuela Superior de Arquitectos in Madrid, Spain.

Leticia Martín Ruiz has said of his work: “In reality, what is novel about these works is their treatment of themes as common in art as the sea. What dominate are heavy forms and contrasting colors. Even though we know perfectly well what is being represented, the forms begin to have such force that we ignore the objects and look at the work as if it were abstract.”
