Kumi Sugaï Biography

An established Japanese artist, Kumi Sugai worked as a painter, sculptor, and printmaker. His early work was influenced by oriental calligraphy, while his later work has a hard-edged geometric style.

Sugai studied art in Kobe, Japan, and his work has been exhibited and collected around the world.
