This Lithograph is Hand Signed in pencil by Chagall at the lower right margin "Marc Chagall" and Hand Inscribed in pencil "Epreuve d'artiste" (Artist Proof) at the lower left margin.

The work was printed in a limited edition of only 50 signed and numbered impressions and a few signed Artist Proofs. This impression is one of these rare proofs on Arches paper with full margins. The paper bears the Arches watermark. The lithograph was published by Maeght in 1972. On the reverse, the catalogue raisonne number (649) is written in pencil in the upper left corner.

Condition : Very Good Condition. Minor discoloration of the paper. The colours of the Lithograph are extremly fresh.
