Mario Prassinos is a renowned greek artist and illustrator that works in the figurative style.  He belongs to the New School of Paris movement.

traveled to Paris in 1939 where he would have his first exhibition at the Galería Pierre Vorms.  During the period of time between 1942 and 1950 he met Raymond Queneau and Albert Camus and worked for the Gallimard Publishing
