This lithograph belongs to the Portfolio "Le Carnet de la Californie", with 39 facsimiles of Picasso drawings.
The Picasso´s Studio in Finca "La Californie" (called "L'Atelier de California") was one of the major standards in the production of the artist in the early 1950s. Recently instaure the period of his last companion and laterwife Jacqueline, left in this study possibly the best works of the last period of Picasso's art. They include the series of paintings devoted to Eastern women from "Delacroix" and presentation of the Studio (L'Atelier) under different perspectives.
These graphic works reproduce in lithographic technique some of these great paintings of Delacroix and his own "Atelier".
