Pavel Veshchev Biography

Russia, 1962:

St. Petersburg-based, Pavel Veshchev is an outstanding young painter and graphic artist, with works reflecting his sensibility to colors and figures, along with his expertise in a variety of contemporary styles.

Trained at Nijeny Novgorod Art School (1973-1977); the Lobachevsky University (1979-1984); and The Muhin Institute of Art, San Petersburg, (1987-1990), he has been very active in the young art circles of Russia. He is a Member and Founder of "Free Culture" since 1990; "Free Artists" since 1995, and Member of the Union of Artists of Russia, since 1996.
