There exists another "Dance in the Country" , a drawing in black pencil, made in 1883, which belonged to Mr Georges Viau.This was was reproduced , with differences, in the book "Renoir et ses amis from which our piece came. Our print is similar to an oil by Renoir entitled "Dance at Bougival" painted in 1883.
This is located at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Public Collections: Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris
