PLATAforma Biography

Spain-based PLATAforma, is a collective consisting of 10 outstanding emerging photographers of diverse nationalities. Formed in late-2002, work by this group consists of exceptional photography of varied styles.

PLATAforma includes artists from México, Colombia, Perú, Norway, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile and Spain, bringing together elements of DOCUMENTAL PHOTOGRAPHY, FIGURE STUDY, ABSTRACTION and CONCEPTUAL ART.

The group includes: Flor ACOSTA, Pedro ARNAY, Mario BERMEO, Lourdes CONTRERAS, Rocío FERNANDEZ, Luana FISCHER, Felipe GAMBOA, José Manuel GONZALEZ, Jimena MARCOS, Ángeles Martín VALLE, Hans J. OSNES, Jimena ROQUERO, Guillermo RUIZ, Rafael Ángel SANCHEZ y Andrés VARGAS LLANO.
