Letter from the Artist Montevideo, January 21, 2014 . Hello dear : Today I plan to talk a little about "my art" , what I usually do not . Who sees my works today , does not say that I come from the uruguayan sculpture's old school, though I don't deny it , because at some point I'd return to the old ways, enjoying them trying to give them a new dimension. Therefore, despite leaving this figurative school; modelers clay and plaster carvers , (read the precursor Bernabé Michelena , the eminent Homer Bais , my dear Master Rubens Tudurí Fernández , sculptor Juan Martin and many others) , always I have felt the need for playfulness , giving the research that has taken me many matéricos roads and asks me to generate an intimate dialogue with the viewer , sending some idea , simplicity of form, (here , why abstract today ) , incorporating the color matérico and always recycled materials , mostly natural , rare , (although there would discuss in the so named " nobility " of each and every one of them is based ) . I have traveled and still transit through the iron (and some other metal) , lately I combine in a constructive assembly system with woods . Of course appear and new treatments and attempts in this game , which is no more than that, hopefully playful artist in intimate dialogue with a viewer will appear .
