SCULPTOR, PAINTER and PRINTMAKER Sol LeWitt is considered to be one of the most important American artists of the 20th century, and a leading exponent of MINIMALISM and CONCEPTUALISM, movements that emerged in New York in the 1960s.

In LeWitt´s work, geometry represents eternal order. The artist is able to reduce an initial idea or concept to its most essential elements, eliminating objectivity.
