An original artwork by RUSSIAN-born FRENCH master artist, Sonia Delaunay-Terk. This artist is widely acclaimed as one of the most famous female painter, printmaker and designer, of the 20th century. Notes: In a different hand is written in pencil “Size of repeat 4” x 4”. Beneath the design is shown examples of the 4 colours employed in the design, dark blue, light blue, pink and yellow. The artist was famous for her fashion and textile designs an example of which is this piece obviously made for a silk dress. Condition: The design itself is in excellent condition. the mount sheet has several handling creases.
