Thaweesak Srithongdee Biography

A talented EMERGING artist from Thailand, Thaweesak Srithongdee´s art is influenced by SURREALISM and POP-EROTICA.

Trained at the Silapakorn University, Bangkok, his paintings are usually made with bright colours, showing people in day to day situations - with a sensual touch in a style.

Thaweesak has participated in several art exhibitions in Thailand and has won awards from Toshiba Corporation and Bangkok Bank, among others. Thaweesak had a successful solo show in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 2000 and has also exhibited in Germany (2000), Great Britain (2001) and Singapore (2001), including the prestigious ARTSingapore art fair.
