Urszula Rychlinska Biography

Urszula Rychlińska, born 1976, graphic artist and painter. 1997 - 2002 study at Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland (Faculty of Graphic Arts). She acquires her technique of painting in the painting studio under prof. Z. Maciejewski supervision. In 2002 - first class honors diploma in Book and Typography Studio of Department of Graphic Arts, under supervision of prof. R. Banaszewski. Exhibitions: 2001 – National Museum in Krakow – student’s exhibition accompanying exhibitions of Famous Impressionists. 2002 – Palace of Arts (Krakow) – exhibitions of first class honors diploma of Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow 2006 – 10th Book Fair in Krakow – participation and promotion of artistic illustrations for children 2007 – Illustrators Showroom – exhibitions accompanying with Poznań Trade Fair Meetings 2007 – Gallery of Arts (BWA) Piła - exhibitions of book illustrations 2007 – 11th Book Fair in Krakow – participation and promotion of artistic illustrations for children Awards: 2002 – Award of Faculty of Graphic Arts’ council for outstanding diploma 2002 – Award for the best artistic diploma from among all artistic Academies in Krakow. Currently engaged in graphic design and painting, developing her own technique of painting. She is also the author and illustrator of several children's books.
