Wise Women,

I was disappointed--it's somewhat dated, and the sepia is annoying. A much better choice: I Dream a World, by Brian Lanker.
A salute to older women.,

This book is a brilliant salute to the beauty and wisdom of older women. The photographs show the soul of those pictured, not just the body. As an older woman, I rejoice in a book that shows our strength. It's about time!

I am using this as a gift for all my women friends ages 23 - 103. The book is exceptional.
My Thoughts on WISE WOMEN,

It is a good book to refer to periodically. There are some "wise" thoughts in the book, but I expected a little more meat to the comments and less emphasis on the photography.

This book tells you that aging is not losing but evolving. The beauty of youth will fade and the center of being reveals as we age. "At a certain point, one gets the face one deserves" is so true. Great gift for your friends.
