Angela Wiegand Artwork Details
Detailed Description
The table is cut out of a plywood board (finnish birch with a fine, transparent, colored plastic coating), by a CNC (computer-controlled) milling mashine.
It’s practically only one cut: an ellipse taken out of a rectangular board. What’s left gets the sharp edges cut off and is broken up in two symmetrical pieces: the legs.
There is very little loss of material.
