Antonio Suarez Vega Biography

Madrid, Spain, 1950

Spanish artist Antonio Suarez is a painter, sculptor and graphic artist who first worked in a figurative style before crossing over to abstract expressionism.

Suarez investigates and studies the distinct visual possibilities offered by digital manipulation and different technical methods. He begins with traditional paintings and then treats them with digital procedures. Once finished, he transfers the final piece onto diverse materials used for creating graphic prints such as serigraphs or lithographs, or onto new chemical or magnetic materials.
