Danish Modern: ¨Modernism and Craftsmanship¨

Danish Modern like its Swedish Modern counterpart was a term widely used since the 1950s to describe the combination of Modernist style with traditional Danish materials, natural finishes, organic shapes, and a thousand year-old craftsmanship tradition dating back to the Vikings.

Principal Danish Modern furniture designers include Finn Juhl, Hans Wegner and Arne Jacobsen.
