Gliceé

Glicleé

The word glicée comes from the French “to spray”. This is an electronic printing method, widely recognized as an artistic medium. An image is scanned and digitally saved on computer, or even created directly on a computer. This digital image is then sent to a high-resolution inkjet printer. The printer spays countless miniscule droplets of ink onto the paper, producing an image characterised by its smooth, soft gradation of tone.
