Chassis

The chassis refers to the part of the camera in which the film lodges. In 35mm cameras, it is the opaque cylindrical package that serves to load the film in the camera and that must be rewound before its extraction. In other camera formats, the chassis can be disassembled easily allowing the film to be changed quickly.
