Giclée

From the French term meaning “to spray”. Giclée is a process in which an image is rendered digitally by spraying a fine stream of ink onto archival art paper or canvas. Though originally intended for proofing, many artists and photographers use the process as an alternative to lithography or serigraphy for limited edition original prints or reproductions.
