Lavacourt is a hamlet on the Seine opposite the village of Vétheuil, where the artist lived at the time. Dimensions of the piece are: Support 310 mms x 400 mms, Plate 235 mms x 319 mms. Title and artist are displayed in lower border, together with the National Gallery mark with year of printing.
