BIOGRAPHY DANG THI DUONG
Born in 1948, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam EDUCATION - Master Fine Arts degree from HCMC Fine Arts University - Member of VN & HCMC Fine Arts Associations - Lecturer of HCMC Fine Arts University. EXHIBITIONS - Group exhibitions at the two Fine Arts Universities in Hanoi & HCM cities. - Attended a two-persons painting exhibition in Paris in 1996. - Group exhibitions in Hongkong 1994, Pusan Korea 1997, Singapore 2000, Berlin 2000, Boulogne France 2003, Thailand 2004. - Attended international Painting Exhibition by lecturers from Korea and Vietnam at Pachai and HCMC Fine Arts Universities, in 2006. - Attended the International painting Exhibition by women artists “Her Presence in Colours VII” in Dague, Korea, 2006. - Attended the International Painting Exhibition in Thailand, 2007. - Attended the International painting Exhibition by women artists “Her Presence in Colours VIII” in Beijing, China, 2008. - Attended the “100 excellent artists” international painting exhibition in Penang, Malaysia, 2009 - Participating in the International painting Exhibition by women artists “Her Presence in Colours IX” in Oregon, USA, to be held in aug. 2010.
AWARDS: - 2nd prize at the National Exhibition of posters & Graphic Arts, Hanoi, 1984. - Fine Arts prize from the VN Fine Arts Association in 1996. - Poster prize from HCM Culture & Information Service 1998. - Having paintings collected by galleries in Paris and Hong Kong. - Studio: 149/15 Duong Quang Ham.
