David Price Biography

Washington, 1966-

Established American artist, David Price has been working for the last 13 years, representing landscapes and people in their surroundings.

The artist creates several preparatory sketches and develops original techniques using acrylic paints on a gypsum surface on board. His techniques consist in incising, scratching rubbing, and working the surface, layering different colours to create a sense of age and the passage of time. This way he feels it will allow the figures to take a life of their own.
