Eduardo Chillida

(San Sebastián, Spain, 1924-2002)

Basque-born sculptor and printmaker, widely recognized as one of the leading European sculptors of our time.

This artist is well known for his wrought iron abstract sculptures that can be found at several public locations across Northern Spain and his hometown of San Sebastian. Two of his most renowned museum pieces are: From Within ( Guggenheim Museum, New York ) and Modulation of Space I ( Tate Gallery, London ).
