Caracas, Venezuela 1969

Established Venezuelan photographer, Alexander Apostol is one of the most interesting figures in Latin American photography, a tireless experimenter with materials of diverse photographic support like cloth, ceramics, or expired photographic papers.

His path is primarily personal and includes themes of social reach. He also demonstrates the staging, interpretation or distortion of reality articulated very well through work of different supports and reflections over the wealth of connected concepts made photographically. It is like it is a documentary or a question of the point of photography in contemporary art.

Alexander has a degree in Art History from the University of Caracas, Venezuela.
