Jerez de la Fontera, Cadiz, Spain 1964

Promising Spanish artist of the figurative style.

His work stressed a great realism, and a taste for the representation of the human body, especially femininely.

In his own words: "When I think about painting my own world develops. It is maybe the result of shyness, mixed well with pride and fear. When it's just me, face-to-face with myself, the ideas are confused, and there are screams of rejection, like a boy mistreated unjustifiably, like always. Everything paralyzes and you see only your dream, your firm dream that now is a nightmare and what before you wanted to embrace is now a fatal embrace of suffocation. You decide that you can do it, draw, erase, paint, in a constant lash of hidden jokes".
