Manuel Vilariño started as a photographer in the seventies with a social thematic. Later he evolved towards creative photography, producing abstract work where he speculates with shape and color, mixing it with other works of macrophotography. His evolution as a photographer is oriented towards the construction of his own artistic universe, giving great importance to subjectivity.

He is a man with a solid cultural upbringing in which philosophy, literature and the fine arts have a decisive presence. He has written for numerous publications about different authors and moments in the brief history of photography in Galicia. On the other hand, he is an artist well integrated in the international circuit of the arts, for some time now.
