La Lune de Sébastien by Richard Texier

Richard Texier Biography

Niort, France 1955

An established French artist, Richard Texier works as a painter, sculptor, and graphic artist, often creating pieces monumental in both size and impact. In his largely abstract two dimensional works, he often combines recognizable signs and symbols with bold swatches of color that seem to tear into the canvas.

Texier began painting at the age of 12. He has lived and worked around the world, exhibiting in the United States, Russia, Holland, France, Spain, China, and Japan.

Flammarion Editions published a monograph of his work in 2004.
