Min Yee Biography

Burma, 1965

Min Yee sometimes paints LANDSCAPES in a REALISTIC manner, though his most recent pieces are mixed media paintings of SEMI-ABSTRACT environments, often related to Buddhism. His uses acrylic painted on hand made paper, which is mounted on canvas.

Min Yee studied fine art at the State School of Fine Arts in Rangoon from 1990 to 1994. He has also studied under his mentors U Hla Thein, U Tin Aye, U Kyaw Lay and U Mya Aye. Min Yee has participated in several art exhibitions inside Burma.
