Established American painter John Grillo's bold and sensuous paintings have been critically described as a collage of "spiralling forms, dazzling color chords, dynamic diagonals, and jump-cut spatial locations, fast rhythms, fleeting fragmentary shapes..."
John Grillo studied at Hartford School of Fine Arts California School of Fine Arts San Francisco and with Hans Hoffman between 1948 and 1951.
