Note : Icart's style of “Boudoir Art” was often copied but never excelled. He stands alone as chief of this particular oeuvre. After the First World War the artist began again to create illustrations of women in their seductive misadventures Edition: 27 - Edition written to left of image on margin : The Edition made by Icart at this period were of indeterminate size and probably between 50 and 300 . The artist requested his Masterprinters to create more depending on the quantity of sales achieved. Published by: Estampe Moderne, Paris.
