Detailed Description

Nico Jane is one of a series of innovative and stylized portraits drawing inspiration from such diverse areas as computerized technology, Andy Warhol and Che.
This portrait is of my daughter and is indicative of my work in Portraiture. Although live sessions are great, I am very happy to paint from photographs and computer images via the internet.
I always like where possible to talk to the subject for a bit on the phone (or the person commissioning…) to get that deeper insight that a photograph may miss – but basically, I just love to paint portraits.
