An established Italian artist, Nicola Simbari is one of the great innovators in contemporary Italian painting and graphics.
The success of his work derives from the vigour and intensity of his vision, particularly for the Mediterranean landscape and its people. Like the great impressionist painters, his paintings have luminosity combined with a formidable technical strength and a highly original sense of color.
