Paul Ambille Biography

France, 1930 -

An established French artist, Paul Ambille works in an expressionist style. He is most famous for his vibrantly colored paintings of horse and boat racing.

He won the Grand Prix de Rome in painting in 1955, and is the official artist for the French Marines. He is also a leading member of a number of art associations.

Ambille exhibits internationally, including in Japan, France, and the United States, and his work forms a part of public and private collections around the world.
