Renate van Nijen Biography
Dutch artist who works with oil paints, acrylic paints, ceramics and glass objects.
Renate has received her art-education in New Zealand and has developed herself further by working with established professional artists in The Netherlands and Italy where she has worked and lived in a small mountain village for 4 years.
Since October 2003 Renate lives in Spain. The culture and the colours of southern countries have clearly influenced her way of working.
From 1987 until now Renate has held over 70 exhibitions of her work. These exhibitions took place in Galleries, large business companies like AKZO NOBEL and various art and or cultural manifestations, nationally and internationally.
